About IQS

The ultimate gift that we can give to our children is to provide them the opportunity to learn the book of Allah. It is our utmost responsibility to teach our children the proper way to read and understand Quran.

The ISI's Quranic School (IQS) was established on the basis of the same mission to teach how to read and memorize Quran. IQS right now runs two major categories of programs namely Quranic Learning (Nazira/Tajweed) program as well as Hifz program.

The Quranic School started in March 2005 and the Fulltime Hifz program started in August 2005. By the will of Allah SWT IQS has produced 7 huffaz so far with the teaching and guidance of Shk AbdelKareem Edghouch

Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to have a team of two qualified and experienced full time teachers. Sheikh Abdelkareem Edghouch is in-charge of our Full Time Hifz program. He is very renowned figure in North America and one of the best Qari in the whole US to say the least. As mentioned earlier, 7 students have become Huffaz under his supervision so far.

We also have Sheikh Sayeed Patel who moved to Irving from California very recently. He is in-charge of our Weekday and Weekend based Quran Learning (Nazira/Tajweed) programs. Sheikh Sayeed also bring with him 11 years of experience in teaching Quran in US. Both will work as a team InshaAllah to benefit the community most.
