Countless praise is due to Allah SWT, who blessed us with the gift of Islam. He SWT blessed us with the gift of Al Quran, the light of guidance, through our beloved prophet Mohammed SAW. It is our utmost responsibility to teach our children the proper way to read, memorize and understand Quran.
With this concern in mind, by the grace of Allah SWT, Islamic School of Irving's Quranic School (IQS) was established to teach our children to read and memorize Quran. Today around 125 children are enrolled in various Quranic programs, 10 of those children are enrolled in the full time Hifz program. Alhamdulillah, IQS has produced 7 Huffaz so far and many in line to become protectors of Quran. It is our desire to offer additional Islamic studies programs in the future.

Alhmdulillah, we are delighted to announce the Seventh graduate of the Islamic School of Irving Hifz Program. Momin Rahman, has completed the memorization of the Holy Quran on Friday March 13, 2009. .

Our Programs
At IQS, we offer various Quranic Programs for all the age groups. With primary goal of teaching Quran recitation (Nazira) from basics and Full-Time Hifz Program, we also have programs for adults.
Quran Learning (Nazera/Tajweed)
This course is designed for children who want to learn the Quran for the first time. Teaching starts with the basic Arabic letters and then gradually moves forward to enhance the reading skills of the students.
Full Time Hifz
This course is for the students who aspire to become Hafiz of Quran. This course enables each student to go through all the methodologies that are required to memorize the Quran and then retain it after the Hifz is completed.
Part Time Hifz
This course is for students who want to become Hafiz of selected Surahs or Juz' on a part time basis while attending to their full time school.
